Russian Premier League club Krasnodar are reportedly weighing up the possibility of sending Super Eagles forward Olakunle Olusegun out on loan once again ahead of the 2026/2027 season, according to reports from Soccer.ru.
The Nigerian attacker spent the 2025/2026 campaign on loan at fellow Russian side Paris NN in search of regular first-team football after struggling to secure a consistent role during Krasnodar's title-winning 2024/2025 season.
Olusegun found opportunities limited at Krasnodar, managing just two goals in 19 league appearances as the Bulls clinched the Russian Premier League crown.
In a bid to aid his development and ensure more playing time, the club sanctioned a temporary move to Paris NN.
The loan spell proved beneficial for the 24-year-old, who became an integral part of the Paris NN squad despite the club's eventual relegation from the top flight.
The Nigeria international enjoyed an impressive individual campaign, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 26 league appearances. His performances earned him a key role in the team and further underlined his attacking qualities.
Krasnodar are now considering another temporary move for Olusegun, as well as fellow player Moses David Coban, despite the forward's encouraging performances during his spell at Paris NN.
The Bulls are believed to view another loan arrangement as the ideal pathway for Olusegun's continued development, allowing him to maintain regular playing time and further refine his game.
With the new season fast approaching, the former Nigerian youth international will be eager to resolve his future and continue the steady progression that has marked his recent career trajectory.
