German and French clubs monitoring situation of Besiktas centre-back Uduokhai

Besiktas have begun shaping their squad plans ahead of the new season, with the futures of several players expected to become clearer in the coming weeks.

Among those attracting attention is Nigeria-eligible central defender Felix Uduokhai.

According to Fanatik, the 28-year-old is on the radar of clubs in Germany and France, with teams from both countries closely monitoring his situation.

Uduokhai is reportedly open to considering offers from Europe as he looks to continue his career at a club where he can secure regular playing time.

Last season, the former Nigeria Football Federation target started just 16 of the 44 matches contested by Besiktas across all competitions.

Besiktas signed the defender for a fee of around €5.5 million and are believed to be willing to assess suitable proposals for the player.

While initial contacts are ongoing, discussions between the relevant parties are expected to intensify in the coming days.

Uduokhai lists VfB Annaberg 09, Erzgebirge Aue, 1860 Munich, VfL Wolfsburg and FC Augsburg as his previous clubs.
