Tri-national winger Nehemiah Oriola has committed his long-term future to Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion after signing a new contract with the Seagulls.
Brighton have officially confirmed that Oriola has put pen to paper on a fresh three-year deal, keeping him at the club until June 30, 2029.
Born in London, the talented forward is eligible to represent three countries at international level.
He can play for England, his country of birth, as well as Nigeria's Super Eagles and Ghana's Black Stars through his paternal and maternal heritage respectively.
Oriola’s reputation has grown significantly over the past year, with his impressive progress earning him a new contract three years after he joined Brighton from Manchester United.
The youngster was included in seven Premier League matchday squads last season and made his senior debut in a 3-0 win over Leeds United in November, replacing Georginio Rutter in stoppage time.
His outstanding performances in the Premier League 2 also earned recognition, with the league nominating him for the Player of the Month award in March after he recorded three goals and one assist.
The former West Ham United academy player finished the campaign with eight goals and four assists in the league, helping Brighton & Hove Albion secure the PL2 title and lift the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens trophy.
