Through a statement on the official website, newly-promoted Danish 2nd Division club Nykøbing FC have announced that Emmanuel Ogude has signed a new contract.
The new agreement between club and player will see the Nigerian striker remain at Nykøbing FC until the summer of 2028.
Ogude has been rewarded with a new deal after recording 28 goals in all competitions last season, including twenty goals and eight assists.
The extension ensures that one of the team's key attacking players will remain in the dark blue jersey after another impressive season in which he underlined his importance to the squad.
As part of the new agreement, Ogude will combine his first team responsibilities with a coaching role at the club’s academy, where he will work with and help develop the next generation of attacking talents.
Commenting on his contract extension, Ogude stated: "I think we are heading to a really exciting place. There are lots of development opportunities, and I feel like we are building on it all the time.
"Everyone is pulling in the same direction, and I still want to be a part of that. I am really looking forward to the upcoming season, where we will build even more and continue the development we are doing."
Ogude represented Maccabi Petah Tikva, Hapoel Ashkelon and Maccabi Kiryat Gat, followed by moves to B.93, Vendsyssel, Al Tadhamon, Al-Qasim and Vaasan Palloseura.
