Turkish football journalist Levent Tüzemen has claimed that Victor Osimhen has been assured by the Galatasaray hierarchy that the club will be stronger next season as speculation over the striker's future continues.
The reported assurance comes at a time when Osimhen continues to be linked with several top European clubs following another impressive campaign.
The likes of Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been credited with an interest in the former African Footballer of the Year following a breakout campaign that saw him notch 30 goal involvements in 33 outings.
Osimhen's future remains one of the major talking points of the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray keen to strengthen their case for keeping the prolific forward.
Speaking on the Libero TV YouTube channel, Tüzemen revealed that Galatasaray's management has made a clear commitment to the Nigeria international in an effort to convince him about the club's ambitions.
"Victor Osimhen received a promise from the Galatasaray management that, 'We will be a better team next season,'" Tüzemen was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.com.
Osimhen remains under contract at Galatasaray for another three years after joining the club permanently last summer in a €75 million deal, a Turkish Süper Lig record.
