Super Eagles striker Adams reports for pre-season training with Sevilla amid exit talk

Super Eagles striker Akor Adams reported for pre-season training with Sevilla amid ongoing transfer speculation surrounding his future at the Spanish club, according to a report by Estadio Deportivo.

Adams was the main talking point at Sevilla’s training session on Friday morning as the striker, alongside Odysseas Vlachodimos and Chidera Ejuke, began preparations for the new season under Luis García Plaza.

Although the Nigerian forward resumed training with the squad, his future remains uncertain as Sevilla and Italian club Venezia continue negotiations over a possible transfer.

Adams has already agreed to join Venezia’s project, but both clubs are yet to reach a final agreement on the transfer fee.

Venezia have travelled to Sevilla to negotiate a deal for the Nigerian striker, but discussions remain ongoing.

Sevilla are reportedly seeking €15 million for Adams, while Venezia’s offer is believed to be €10 million upfront plus €2 million in possible add-ons, leaving both clubs working towards a compromise.

For now, Adams remains a Sevilla player and has returned to training with a focus on maintaining his fitness ahead of the upcoming campaign.

However, his involvement with the team could be temporary if an agreement is reached between the two clubs in the coming days.

While negotiations with Venezia continue, the Super Eagles forward will continue preparing with Sevilla as both clubs attempt to find an agreement that satisfies all parties involved.
