PL new boys Hull City interested in Everton's Super Eagles-eligible midfielder valued at N36b

Newly promoted Premier League club Hull City are showing interest in signing Nigeria-eligible midfielder Tim Iroegbunam ahead of the 2026/27 season, according to Hull Live.

Everton are prepared to sanction the player's departure this summer if their valuation of around £20 million (approximately ₦36 billion) is met.

However, the final fee could be subject to negotiation, given that the 22-year-old is now in the final year of his contract.

Iroegbunam enjoyed a respectable campaign with Everton last season, where he gradually established himself as a reliable presence in midfield under manager David Moyes.

While Iroegbunam did not score during the campaign, he made a positive impact through his overall play, registering three assists in 29 league appearances.

The former Aston Villa midfielder, who joined Everton in the summer of 2024, now has just one year remaining on his contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which has intensified speculation over his future.

Iroegbunam remains eligible to represent Nigeria at senior level despite featuring for England at youth level.

Should the move to Hull City materialise, he would join Super Eagles centre-back Semi Ajayi at the Tigers.
