Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen have confirmed that eight youth academy players have joined the ranks at Cormack Park ahead of the 2026/27 season, with four signing professional contracts and the remaining four joining on part-time terms.
Among the four youngsters to sign professional contracts are Nigeria-eligible duo Joel Okhuoya and Andrew Fasanya.
Fasanya's impressive rise through the ranks has been rewarded with a full-time academy place.
The versatile attacker made his U18 debut in August 2024 at the age of just 13 and is comfortable playing both centrally and out wide.
Fasanya has also represented Scotland at youth level.
A commanding central defender, Okhuoya has been part of Aberdeen's academy since U13 level and has also earned youth international recognition.
Goalkeeper Conlan Waldron, midfielders Heath Duncan and Max Pocklington, centre-backs James Jarvie and Jay Henderson, and forward JJ Hulse complete Aberdeen's Academy Class of 2026.
Nigerian trio Toyosi Olusanya, Afeez Aremu and Peter Ambrose are currently on the books of Aberdeen.
