Italian Serie A club Venezia have reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Nigerian striker Akor Adams in a deal worth around €16 million (approximately N25.2 billion in Nigerian currency) ahead of the 2026/27 season, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano,
The move marks another significant step in Adams' career following an impressive resurgence in Spain, where he rediscovered his best form after overcoming an injury-hit start to life in La Liga.
The 26-year-old joined Sevilla from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier but endured a difficult first six months at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.
A series of injuries disrupted his adaptation to Spanish football, limiting his impact and slowing his development during the early stages of his spell with the club.
However, Adams bounced back impressively during the 2025/26 campaign, establishing himself as one of Sevilla's key attacking players.
The Nigerian international scored 10 league goals and provided three assists in 32 appearances, playing a crucial role in the club's attack.
