Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgarden have confirmed the signing of left-footed Nigerian winger Angelo Agbejoye from Grassrunners FC.
Agbejoye became Djurgarden's first signing of the summer transfer window after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract, valid until 2031.
Agbejoye attracted interest from several major clubs, including Manchester City, before securing a move to one of the very best destinations for his development.
However, Djurgardens interest in the talented forward dates back much further, built on extensive scouting and a strong relationship that has developed over time.
The 18-year-old, who is most comfortable operating on the right side of the attack, is a left-footed player and completed his first training session with his new teammates on Tuesday.
In his first words as a Djurgarden player, Agbejoye told the club's official website: "I am very happy and grateful to be here.
"My main strengths are speed, attack, finesse, scoring goals and making crucial passes, creating chances and, in short; winning."
For the remainder of the 2026 season, Agbejoye has been assigned the number 26 shirt at Djurgarden.
