Europa League winners Aston Villa have announced that eleven youngsters have signed their first-year scholarship contracts with the club ahead of the 2026-2027 campaign, with three players of Nigerian descent among the latest intake.
Erin Orebowale, Kairi Ketebu and Daniel Adediran have signed two-year scholarships with Aston Villa and have been promoted to the U18 squad on a fulltime basis.
With the exception of Orebowale, the aforementioned teenagers of Nigerian descent have made their competitive debuts for Aston Villa in the U18 Premier League.
Ketebu, a centre-back who has been with Aston Villa since U9 level, is an athletic, competitive presence known for his strong defending, ability to carry the ball into midfield, and impact in both penalty areas.
Orebowale, who joined Aston Villa in 2023, is a versatile forward with strong technical ability, a willingness to take on defenders, and an impressive work rate both in and out of possession.
Adediran Daniel, who joined Aston Villa at U9 level, is a clinical goalscorer known for his intelligent runs, composed finishing, relentless pressing.
The 16-year-old netted an impressive three goals in six U18 Premier League appearances in his final season as a schoolboy, and has represented England's Young Lions at U16 level.
