Announcement imminent: Peterborough United loan out Nigerian forward to League Two's Red Devils

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that EFL League Two club Crawley Town are on the verge of confirming the signing of Nigerian forward Pemi Aderoju.

The League Two Red Devils have reached an agreement with Peterborough United to sign Aderoju on a season-long loan.

The 2004-born forward has found first-team opportunities hard to come by since joining Peterborough United from Biggleswade in January 2024.

He has made 19 appearances in all competitions, including one start, and has scored once, with his only goal coming in a 6-1 victory over Wigan Athletic in February 2026.

With regular playing time not guaranteed next season, Peterborough United have sanctioned Aderoju's imminent loan move to Crawley Town.

The switch will be the attacker's fourth loan spell since joining Peterborough United, having previously represented Boston United, Farnborough and Eastbourne Borough on temporary deals.

Before signing for Peterborough United following a successful trial, Aderoju played non-League football for Kempston Rovers and Biggleswade.

At Crawley Town, he will link up with fellow Nigerians Akin Odimayo and Ade Adeyemo.
