Italian giants Juventus are on the brink of announcing the signing of Italian-Nigerian forward Jeff Ekhator from Genoa on a five-year contract, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 19-year-old, widely regarded as one of Italy's brightest young attacking talents, is set to make the switch to Turin after an impressive breakthrough campaign with Genoa.
Ekhator featured in 30 Serie A matches during the 2025/26 season, scoring three goals while showcasing his technical quality and attacking versatility.
His performances attracted interest from several top clubs, but Juventus moved decisively to secure his signature.
According to Romano, Juventus and Genoa have finalised an agreement for the transfer, with the Bianconeri keen to complete the deal before the financial deadline for the 2025/26 accounting period.
The youngster is already travelling to undergo his medical examinations ahead of officially completing the move.
Juventus will reportedly pay an initial €16 million for the Nigeria-eligible forward, with a further €2 million in performance-related add-ons included in the agreement.
Ekhator is expected to sign a five-year contract that will keep him at the Allianz Stadium until 2031. As part of the deal, Austrian youngster David Puczka will move to Genoa.
