Juventus have turned their attention to the Nigerian shot-stopper after encountering difficulties in their pursuit of Martínez, who has been linked with a move to Turin following his impressive performances for the Premier League club.
The Nigerian shot-stopper has emerged as one of Juventus' transfer targets as the Turin-based side seek to strengthen their goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.
Okoye enjoyed an impressive campaign with Udinese despite missing the opening six matches of the season following a suspension linked to a betting investigation.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper bounced back strongly, keeping 10 clean sheets and conceding 32 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions.
His performances played a crucial role in helping Udinese secure a 10th-place finish in the Serie A standings, attracting interest from several clubs, including Juventus.
According to Italian outlet Il Messaggero Veneto, via Tuttomercatoweb, Udinese hold Okoye in high regard and have placed a €15 million valuation on the Nigerian international, a fee similar to what Juventus are reportedly prepared to negotiate for Emiliano Martínez of Aston Villa.
With two years remaining on his contract at Udinese, Okoye is expected to seek clarity on his future before the close of the transfer window as speculation over a potential move to Turin continues to gather momentum.
