Sevilla target over N31b windfall from sales of Super Eagles forwards Adams and Ejuke

Spanish La Liga side Sevilla are reportedly willing to part ways with Nigerian forwards Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke this summer as the club seeks to generate more than €20 million (approximately N31 billion in Nigerian currency) to ease its financial challenges ahead of the 2026/27 season.

According to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, the Andalusian club has placed both players on the transfer market as part of a wider strategy to balance its finances and create room to register new signings before the start of the new campaign.

Adams enjoyed a productive full season with Sevilla following his move from French club Montpellier.

The Super Eagles striker scored 10 league goals and contributed three assists in 32 appearances, playing a key role in helping the Rojiblancos secure their La Liga status with games to spare.

His impressive performances have reportedly attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.

French giants Olympique de Marseille are said to be monitoring the striker, while Serie A outfit Venezia have also been linked with a move for the Nigerian forward.

Ejuke, on the other hand, endured a frustrating campaign at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

The winger struggled for regular playing time under both Matías Almeyda and Luis García Plaza, limiting his impact throughout the season.

Despite his difficult campaign, the Nigerian International remains an attractive option in the transfer market, with clubs from the Saudi Pro League believed to be interested in securing his services this summer.

With Sevilla continuing to battle financial constraints, the club sees the potential departures of Adams and Ejuke as an opportunity to generate vital revenue.

The Spanish side is reportedly targeting a combined fee of more than €20 million from the sale of the two Nigerian internationals.

The expected income would help Sevilla improve their financial position and facilitate the registration of new arrivals, including defender José Ignacio Navarro, as the club prepares for the 2026/27 campaign.
