Pisa ready to lower asking price for Trabzonspor-linked forward Durosinmi despite N28b valuation

Italian club Pisa are reportedly prepared to lower their asking price for Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi as interest in the forward continues to grow during the summer transfer window.

Durosinmi joined Pisa from Czech side FC Viktoria Plzeň in the January transfer window after impressing with his performances in the Czech Republic.

However, the Super Eagles striker struggled to settle in Italy and failed to replicate his previous form as Pisa endured a disappointing campaign that ended in relegation to the Italian second division, Serie B.

Despite his difficult spell, the Nigerian international remains an attractive option for several European clubs, with Turkish outfit Trabzonspor among the leading contenders for his signature.

Although Durosinmi is contracted to Pisa until 2030 and has an €18 million release clause (approximately #28 billion), Italian outlet Sestaporta reports that the club could now accept an offer in the region of €8 million to €10 million to facilitate his departure.

Trabzonspor have already opened preliminary discussions with the player's representatives but are unlikely to formalise a move unless they first sanction the sale of Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli are reportedly pushing to sign Onuachu after his impressive season in Turkey.

Should Onuachu complete a transfer, Trabzonspor would have both the financial resources and squad space required to pursue Durosinmi and meet Pisa's revised valuation for the Nigerian forward.
