Through a statement on the official website. Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz have confirmed the signing of young Nigerian centre-back Nnamdi Kelechi.
Kelechi has joined the five-time Bundesliga champions from First Vienna FC, and will begin his career with at SK Sturm Graz with the reserve team.
After gaining valuable first-team experience in the 2. Liga last season, Nnamdi is set for the next chapter of his career with Sturm Graz.
The promising right-back made 22 league appearances for the Döbling-based outfit, showcasing his potential at senior level.
Commenting on the signing of Kelechi, Sporting Director Michael Parensen said: "Kelechi is a young, exciting player who, despite his age, has already gained experience in the second division.
"He brings pace, dynamism, and a good education, making him a great fit for our profile. We are convinced that he can take the next steps in his development with Sturm Graz II and are delighted to welcome him."
Kelechi began his football journey in Rapid Vienna's youth system before joining the renowned FC Red Bull Salzburg academy.
He later progressed through Vienna's reserve side and established himself in the professional ranks of the 2. Liga.
