Crystal Palace midfielder Ozoh not a target for Middlesbrough in summer transfer window

Championship outfit Middlesbrough are not interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh during the summer transfer window, according to Teesside Live.

The 21-year-old had been linked with a move to the Riverside Stadium in recent days, with Boro continuing their search for reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

Strengthening the midfield remains one of Middlesbrough's key priorities as manager Kim Hellberg looks to build his squad.

The club could require up to two new midfielders if Hayden Hackney completes an expected move to the Premier League.

However, Boro have already finalised their shortlist of transfer targets, and neither Ozoh nor fellow reported target Mulligan features among the names being considered.

Ozoh spent the last two season on loan at Derby County, where he gained valuable first-team experience, making 47 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals.

Born in Valencia, the academy graduate has a contract with Crystal Palace until June 30, 2027, and has played 13 games for the first team, including ten in the Premier League.
