Super Eagles midfielder expected to stay put at Marseille despite offers from England

Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi is expected to remain at Olympique Marseille this summer despite attracting interest from two English clubs, according to reports from French outlet La Minute OM.

The Nigeria international joined the Ligue 1 side during the winter transfer window but initially endured a difficult start to life in France.

Nnadi struggled to adapt to his new surroundings and found opportunities hard to come by, leading to concerns over his long-term future at the Orange Vélodrome.

However, the midfielder's fortunes improved significantly towards the end of the campaign.

Injuries to several first-team players opened the door for Nnadi, who seized the opportunity with a series of impressive performances that earned him praise from supporters and strengthened his position within the squad.

Despite his resurgence, speculation over a possible departure has continued, with two English clubs reportedly submitting offers in an attempt to lure the young midfielder away from Marseille.

However, the Nigerian international is reportedly unwilling to leave Marseille at this point in his career, with the midfielder settled in France and fully committed to continuing his development in Ligue 1.

The midfielder is determined to build on his encouraging end to the season and establish himself as a regular starter during the 2026/27 campaign.

With preseason preparations set to begin, Nnadi's immediate priority will be to impress manager Habib Beye and stake a stronger claim for a place in the starting lineup as he looks to cement his future at the club.
