Danish Superliga side FC FC Midtjylland have sold promising Nigerian midfielder James Arinze to Slovenian PrvaLiga club NK Bravo, the Wolves officially informed on Friday, June 20.
The youngster has secured a move to NK Bravo after delivering impressive performances for FC Midtjylland’s youth teams, playing a key role in their success as they claimed two Danish U19 Championship titles.
Arinze also caught the eye in the prestigious UEFA Youth League with three goals in five appearances.
Arinze is joining Slovenian club NK Bravo, who finished third last season and will compete for a place in the UEFA Conference League in 2026-2027.
The attacking midfielder has signed a contract with NK Bravo until the end of the 2027-28 season, with the option of extending the agreement for a further year.
He will join the squad for pre-season training in Kranjska Gora, where Aleš Arnol’s team will travel on Saturday.
Arinze is the first player signed by NK Bravo in the summer transfer window and will seek to continue his development with the club.
The 20-year-old joined FC Midtjylland from their strategic partnership club FC Ebedei in 2025, where he was part of the academy.
Arinze will be hoping to emulate the success of former Flying Eagles midfielder Ovbokha Agboyi , who impressed during his spell at NK Bravo, scoring 11 goals in 105 appearances for the Slovenian club.
