Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has announced his starting line-up for Tuesday evening’s Unity Cup semi-final clash against Zimbabwe's Warriors at The Valley in London.
With an experimental squad selected for the tournament, the Malian tactician has handed debuts to several players.
Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo will make his full debut, with Francis Uzoho—who had been expected to captain the side—named among the substitutes.
Okonkwo is protected by a back four comprising Chibueze Oputa, Igoh Ogbu, Chibuike Nwaiwu, and Obinna Igboke.
Tochukwu Nnadi makes his first start for the Super Eagles, joining Tijani and Alhassan Abdullahi in midfield.
With Wilfred Ndidi absent and Uzoho on the bench, Porto forward Terem Moffi will captain the side. Completing the starting line-up are Philip Otele and debutant Azeez Beloso.
If Nigeria defeat Zimbabwe, they will face the winner of the other semi-final between Jamaica and India on Saturday, 30 May.
