Emmanuel Dennis is set to miss a second consecutive Superliga match for Brondby after manager Steve Cooper omitted the Nigeria international from his provisional squad for Thursday evening's clash against FC Copenhagen.
The former Nottingham Forest forward was an unused substitute in Brondby's last outing against FC Midtjylland.
However, for this evening's encounter with FC Copenhagen, Dennis has not been included in the squad at all and will have to watch from the stands at Brondby Stadium or on television.
After spending approximately five months without a club, the 28-year-old joined Brondby during the January transfer window, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract that runs until June 30, 2028, after impressing during the club's training camp.
Since arriving in Denmark, Dennis has made eleven Superliga appearances and scored once, with his only goal coming against Viborg FF on April 22.
Thursday's meeting between Brondby and FC Copenhagen carries significant importance, with the winner securing a place in the qualification stage for next season's UEFA Conference League.
Cooper has named a 23-man provisional squad for the fixture, meaning at least three players will still be dropped before kickoff.
