Lazio ace Dele-Bashiru reports for Super Eagles duty ahead of friendly against Poland

Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has arrived at the Super Eagles camp ahead of Nigeria's international friendly against Poland, joining his teammates as preparations gather pace for the highly anticipated encounter

With Dele-Bashiru now in camp, the Super Eagles' squad has grown to 19 players ahead of Tuesday's training session at PGE Narodowy.

Wilfred Ndidi was among the players already at the Super Eagles' Warsaw Presidential Hotel by lunchtime on Monday, alongside goalkeepers Maduka Okoye, Francis Uzoho and Arthur Okonkwo, defenders Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Emmanuel Fernandez and Igoh Ogbu, and midfielders Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika and Tochukwu Nnadi.

The contingent also included forwards Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams, Terem Moffi and Rafiu Durosinmi.

Hull City centre-back Semi Ajayi and fresh invitee Abdullahi Bewene did not participate in Monday's training session as they arrived after lunch.

Dele-Bashiru was one of manager Eric Chelle's trusted options during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Manchester City academy product appeared in all of Nigeria's games at the tournament, save for the 3-2 win over Tunisia, in which he was an unused substitute.

Monday's training session lasted for eighty minutes under light rain at the Stadion Polinii Warsawa.
