'I have no clue' - Terem Moffi admits uncertainty over future as Porto confirm striker's exit

Speaking ahead of Nigeria's Unity Cup clash with Jamaica, Terem Moffi suggested that he remains in the dark over his future at club level.

Portuguese champions Porto confirmed on Thursday that Moffi will no longer be part of the squad following the end of his loan spell.

Moffi joined Porto in the January transfer window on loan for the remainder of the season, with an option to buy set at eight million euros included in the deal.

However, the Dragons have decided not to exercise the purchase option negotiated with OGC Nice, after the Super Eagles striker registered two goals and one assist in fifteen appearances across all competitions.

Following a widely publicised fallout with sections of the OGC Nice supporters after the club's sixth successive defeat across all competitions at the end of November, Moffi is expected to leave the French side during the summer transfer window despite having a year remaining on his contract.

Speaking about his future, Moffi admitted he remains unsure about what comes next amid speculation over his next destination.

In an interview posted on YouTube by Nigeria Football Weekly, Moffi said: "Honestly I have no clue on what's going to happen. The future I don't like to think about it, only the present. What happens today is what I'm focused on".

Wearing the captain’s armband, Moffi delivered an impressive performance in Nigeria's 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe, providing the assists for both goals scored by debutant Femi Azeez.
