Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that English-born Nigerian striker Temi Babalola is expected to complete a transfer to 2020-2021 National League champions Sutton United this week.
Sutton United and Forest Green Rovers have reached a club-to-cub agreement for the transfer of the 25-year-old, who is scheduled to finalise the switch on Wednesday.
Forest Green Rovers have agreed to part ways with Babalola for a fee of £30,000 (approximately ₦55 million).
Subject to a routine medical, the attacker will put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Sutton United, keeping him at the Yellows until June 30, 2028.
Babalola joined Forest Green Rovers in October 2025, after spells with Concord Rangers, Hampton and Richmond and Cheshunt.
The striker scored four goals in 19 appearances for Forest Green Rovers during the recently concluded season, while accumulating 1,267 minutes of action in the National League.
Babalola has cited Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and Arsenal's all-time top scorer Thierry Henry as his role models.
At Sutton United, he could link up with three fellow Nigerians next season, with former Flying Eagles invitee Dubem Eze, as well as David Ogbonna and Brandon Njoku, all under contract for the 2026-27 campaign.
