Confirmed: Super Falcons-eligible midfielder retained by West Brom ahead of next season

Following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, FA Women’s National League North side West Bromwich Albion Women have provided an update on the status of their players ahead of the new campaign.

Through the club’s official website, West Brom confirmed that Super Falcons-eligible midfielder Chidubem Arinze is among the players offered a place in the senior squad for the 2026-2027 season.

Arinze spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Boldmere St Michaels Women, where she made 11 appearances for the Mikes.

The midfielder graduated from the Albion academy in 2025 before immediately joining the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands outfit on loan.

Prior to her return to West Brom, Boldmere St Michaels were sitting top of the FAWNL Division One Midlands table, having amassed 45 points from 18 matches.

Arinze was recalled from her loan spell at the Women’s National League North newcomers in March.

She netted her first senior goal in Boldmere St Michaels’ 5-1 victory over Barnsley Women on January 4 and was also named Manager's Player of the Match after an impressive display against AFC Sudbury Women.
